My debut at 7 Dots Studio :)

How exciting!!! To say I am thrilled to be starting at 7 Dots Studio as a Design Team member is an understatement! I LOVE this manufacturer and I LOVE their papers so much! I have been using them a while and some of my favourite collections EVER are the older collections like the one I have used here called Domestic Goddess.

Please check out the 7 Dots Studio website HERE
and please check out the stockists for your country HERE

I am so excited to start my term at 7Dots Studio with one of my all time favourite collections Domestic Goddess. Of course this collection has nothing to do with my sweet little baby Sofia featured in the photo but I picked it especially because its rustic colours match the colours in the photo perfectly.

I started by adhering some squares from the 12x12 Tags on the background and overlapping them to create a layer and texture.

I have then used a Memory Box stencil on my background together with some embossing paste.

I paired some gorgeous gold and black mist to create contrast.

And added some stamping with the Prima Square Stitches stamp before adding some more texture with the Prima trim and Prima flowers.

I used some more 12x12 Tag pieces to mat my photo on .

As usual I started by applying Art Basics CLEAR gesso on my page. I then used this new Pinwheel Stencil by Prima..

This is a 9" stencil and I used it to create the circles you can see on my page together with Art Basics Modeling Paste

I then used some Color Blooms to add colour to the page

In the image above you can also see I have used some of the JUST released Mica Flakes ..

I scattered the Mica Flakes around the page to create texture while the Modeling Paste was still drying up..

That's all for today!

Hope you have been inspired

A layout for The Scrapbook Diaries

Hello! I am excited to be back today to share with you my next layout for The Scrapbook DiariesBesides having an AMAZING online store , they also sell Designer Kits and have a very inspiring blog. There is no Design Team as such, but the owner invites designers from around the world to create projects that  ALWAYS includes a video/stepxstep tutorial and essentially create their own "Designer Kit".

There are no subscriptions to anything. You just visit the store here and choose what page kit you would like. With each kit you get the tutorial as I mentioned, as well as enough materials to create TWO layouts. You can choose from different options such as the full kit that will include EVERYTHING or a couple of other options that include less items in case you already have some of the things included.

So here is the layout I created this month.

If you like the look of this layout and wish to recreate something like it, you will find everything that is needed PLUS a step x step video in the kit HERE
