Guest Designer for ...*WEBSTER'S PAGES*

FINALLY!!! I can share this news with the whole world! I am unbelievably honoured and BEYOND excited to tell you that about 3 months ago, I was contacted by the lovely Dena from Webster's Pages who asked if I was interested in being a Guest Designer!! Can you imagine having to keep this sort of news to my self for this long??  

This is VERY big for me. Not just because Webster's Pages is my all time favourite manufacturer to work with (and I am not just saying that!!!), but it is absolutely flattering to be asked out of SO many incredible people that not only upload AMAZING stuff on the Webster's InspireMe ning site but most probably applied for a position on the team a few months back. Each time I visit there I am in awe of the talent...

 So, I might as well tell you that I did apply...but they had over 600 applications and well ...I was disappointed but in reality knew that I am still fairly new to scrapbooking and didn't really have a chance. Then they announced that they would be picking Guest Designers out of those applications and from the ning site. Still, I thought, no chance,  there are around 12 Guest Designers a year (1 a month) and there are a million people better than me...but they did choose me! YAY!

And to top it all off, I received 2 collections to work with, right after they were released at CHA. One was Ladies and Gents and the other Yacht Club. Am I still dreaming? 

I love Webster's Pages. It has the easiest and most inspiring collections for me to work with..I often say that Webster's was born for me...so without further delay, let me share with you what you what I created with the 2 collections I was sent...

"You are my round the world trip"

As soon as I saw this line released at CHA, I knew that when I got it in my hands, I wanted to do something with travelling. I wanted to create the feeling of sailing off...travelling. My other GREAT passion in life, is travelling and I always thought of being an air hostess...or at least travel the world. But , as my journalling says, I wanted a family MORE! SO these two little people are the travels I never had. And that really is OK!

"Memories of a childhood..."

 I LOVE the way this one came out. I had 2 of the base paper and so I wanted to create a 3D scene..kind of like feeling as though we are there watching them in the water behind the fence. So I fussy cut al lot of the detailed images and mounted them on 3D dots and placed them on top of the same images. 

 In this photo are my two children, with their uncle (my brother, holding Ioanna) and their 2 cousins. Summer, childhood, family, cousins, beach...endless memories.

 The clocks on the base paper, instantly inspired me to create something about time, waiting etc.

"Life with you, really is a bed of roses"

 Yep! Life with these 2 is a bed of roses. Well, some days the neighbours can hear me down the street ..LOL! But this is life, this is my life, and this is the life I always wanted. I wanted these two, I wanted a hubby and I wanted to be where I am right now!

I have absolutely LOVED working with these collections. Would you believe me if I told you, that when these arrived, I finished all my other DT assignements super early and set aside a WHOLE month to create for Webster's. Guess how long it took me to put ALL these together? 2 nights...LOL! THATS how easily it all comes together with Webster's and I! We are a match made in heaven..so compatible! LOL!
