Here is my take on the challenge...

I revisited once again an old time favourite collection from 7 Dots "Wonderland"

It is very rare for me to find a collection with the right colour blue that I like and that appeals to my style and that does not look TOO masculine. This is why I love Wonderland and some of the older 7 Dots Studio collections because this blue is perfect for that bit of rustic look I am looking for.

So let me walk you through some steps..

As always I used my beloved clear gesso on my background and started my background by using one more much loved product, my Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste in white :)

I then applied a couple of 13arts and Heidi Swapp mists .

I dug up some older Prima flower stems as well that were hiding at the bottom of the drawer and matched them to the overall colour theme of the page.

I used die cuts from the Wonderland collection to create some layering

And I also used some stickers from the same collection

Materials Used
Paper: 7 Dots Studio Wonderland collection -

A new layout and Designer Kit for The Scrapbook Diaries

Hello! I am excited to be back today to share with you my next layout for The Scrapbook DiariesBesides having an AMAZING online store , they also sell Designer Kits and have a very inspiring blog. There is no Design Team as such, but the owner invites designers from around the world to create projects that  ALWAYS includes a video/stepxstep tutorial and essentially create their own "Designer Kit".

There are no subscriptions to anything. You just visit the store here and choose what page kit you would like. With each kit you get the tutorial as I mentioned, as well as enough materials to create TWO layouts. You can choose from different options such as the full kit that will include EVERYTHING or a couple of other options that include less items in case you already have some of the things included.

So here is the layout I created this month.

If you like the look of this layout and wish to recreate something like it, you will find everything that is needed PLUS a step x step video in the kit HERE

One more layout for 7 Dots Sudio

Hello! I am back today with my second layout for 7 Dots Studio for August :)

I have used the just BEAUTIFUL Messy Head collection !

Please check out the 7 Dots Studio website HERE
and please check out the stockists for your country HERE

Having 3 girls I am always drawn to using soft colours . But that quickly becomes boring for someone like me.. so every now and then I LOVE adding strong vibrant colours while still keeping the layout feminine . Messy Head is perfect for that. The neutral based papers with a hint of colour through them provide the perfect canvas for anything your heart desires :)

Once again to get the beautiful texture in my background I have used White Embossing Paste by Wendy Vecchi. This time I used my chipboard as a mask and applied it directly onto the chipboard. Cool effect!

Metal Bolts: Prima Marketing
Peg: Prima Marketing

A birthday card for Pom, owner of Prima!

Oh the lady that started all this, Pom Intra, the owner of Prima, has a birthday today! What a great excuse to create a card huh? How many of us drool over the amazing Prima goodies? The flowers, papers, embellishments... How many of us dream of being on this Design Team and how many times have our hearts being shattered? I wonder if all this would be possible without this lady that started it all. So besides happy birthday , a huge THANK YOU to Pom as well :))

Check out the rest of the Design Team's birthday cards at the blog today

I really tried to do a soft a famine card for Pom's birthday but the mixed Art Ingredients were calling my name! I started by applying clear gesso on the base then used the modeling paste and the stencil to add texture before colouring with the Color Bloom Spray.

I then die cut some leaves and a doily and layered them together with flowers , resin and gauze .

Lastly I diluted some heavy gesso and applied it with my brush over the embellishments and flicked some all over the cover. Happy birthday Pom!!
